Sheffield Chess Association
Chesterfield Chess Club currently fields three teams in the Sheffield League and competes for the Davy Trophy, the Weston Trophy, the Richardson Cup and the Edwin Woodhouse Challenge Cup each year.

Chesterfield Chess Club also currently fields two teams in the Derbyshire League. Until 2005 the winners of the Derbyshire First Division were awarded the High Peak Vase. In 2006 it was replaced by the Derby Trophy following the merger of the Derby & District Chess League and the Derbyshire Country Chess Association. The Junior Chess Trophy was awarded to the winners of the Chesterfield School League from 1951 until 1985. The Club is intending to revive the Schools' League in 2025.
